Meet our newest member of the patrol. Jeremy Gray joined the Virginia-Highland Security Patrol this month and is also an investigator with the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office. Prior to joining the DA’s office, he worked for Gwinnett County Police.
Investigator Gray is local to the Atlanta metro area having grown up in Stone Mountain and graduating from Stephenson High School; He continued his education at Georgia Southern University.
He tells us that the best thing about being in law enforcement is being able to assist individuals and help them when they can’t count or rely on others, or don’t trust others. This is a particularly helpful mindset in dealing with the influx of homeless members of our community. Our patrol officers get to know the community, which is always evolving.
If he wasn’t a police officer, he says he might have chosen to be a school teacher or worked in information technology.
If you see Investigator Gray around the neighborhood or have reason to call on the patrol, please thank him for his service.
